Fraunhofer CSE kicked off its 3-year, $10m fundraising campaign with an evening at the Liquid Art House in Boston on November 10. Fraunhofer CSE’s Center Director, Dr. Christian Hoepfner, and Director of Strategy & Business Development, Michelle Macaux, discussed the Center’s research activities in photovoltaic, grid integration, and building energy technologies with guests from the local German business community.

Fraunhofer CSE is raising funds to build its research capabilities in new technology areas, especially energy storage, grid reliability, and safe islanding. Funds raised are matched 1:1 by Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. To learn more about our fundraising efforts, please contact: mmacaux [at]
